Robert Shacklock- Stonemason & Stone carver

Working from his workshop on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, Robert is a specialist in all aspects of traditional Stonework. From his workshop he practices traditional , craft-based, stone masonry using the tools and techniques that go back centuries. Furthermore, Robert is a specialist in the care and repair of historic buildings. His clients include THE NATIONAL TRUST , NOTTINGHAM CITY COUNCIL, THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, Parish councils and other heritage bodies.

As a traditional practitioner of Stonemasonry, Robert has worked all over the UK on Historic and important buildings including Trent Bridge, the Cromford Canal , HMRC (London), furthermore working for various celebreties and national events.

Robert has been involved in consultancy, training and workshops to do with historic buildings and traditional stonework. From conception to completion, Robert is able to bring knowledge and craft skills to your project.
